A very fast read. This book contains brief summaries of the contents of 50 other books, 45 of which I was never going to read. I have all 3 in audio and later bought the 50 self-help classics in print for a refferance in my book collection.
I really liked getting the snapshots of the selected success books and found the narrator’s delivery more than adequate to do the cpassics.
Listened to as an audio book – lots of good info summarized. However, the author does a great job of summarizing the main points and placing the books bktler-bowdon context. If you want to get 50 Cliff Notes on some great books, this is certainly worth the read!
The 50 success classics as well as the 50 self-help classics and the 50 psychology classics are all worthwhile for the reader who wants a quality overview of the subjects. The choice of books that were summarized seemed thoughtfully selected, and the narrator did a fine job reading.

Given the sheer number of books mentioned, I feel the author could still have elaborated yet some more. This books is in essence a compilation of summaries and key elements of the top 50 success books.

The Narrator Ruins It The title sounded promising, and the idea of getting the essence of 50 classics from one listen was equally appealing. This audio book met my expectations. It definitely takes months and years to implement everything that is given here, the main benefit I succees from it was discovering new materials and authors on the topic of success which is very fascinating to read about.
Definitely worth the time.

No Reviews are Available. Definitely worth a read, although very few of the books surveyed sound like they are. Someone unfamiliar with the literature would have a hard time processing so much distilled wisdom in just pages. Practical yet philosophical, sensible yet stimulating, the 50 all-time classics span biography and business, psychology and ancient philosophy, exploring the rich and fertile ground of books that have helped millions of people achieve success in their work and personal lives.
This was an enjoyable listen and a great introduction both to very popular and more obscure motivational books. My favorite is the collection of spiritual classics, and there is some overlap amongst the books, but this is another great collection.
