Lucy, though, would hav I was pretty disappointed in this conclusion.

There are some spoilers that were unavoidable. Solange is smack-dab in the middle of everything, so we need her point of view, and Lucy is just kick-ass and, despite being human, probably the fiercest character in the entire series. And can she do it in time to save everyone she loves from the vampire civil war, hunter attack, and each other? I was thankful that things were salvaged by a satisfactory end to this book.

This is where we get to see the things we loved about those first four books! It’s filled with laughter, excitement, kickass female protags and swoon-worthy undead boys that will steal your heart faster then you can say vampire. Pretty boys aren’t enough if you don’t have a best friend and excessive amounts of chocolate to crush on them with and that’s why I adore this series.

Also, this book has — hands down — the best cover art of the entire series.

Blood Prophecy

But I was happy to prohpecy them again, even for a short while. She’s also the only one besides Hunter who doesn’t get changed into a vampire even though she’s madly in love with a Drake Brother! My favorite of the series is still Hearts At Stake. Although I’m really sad to see the series go. Alyxandra Harvey has a way of writing that makes you feel almost the way her characters do and be able to sympathize. Yes, brilliant romances with the pretty Drake boys do make this series effortlessly fun to read, but it’s the friendships, the snark, the teamwork that’s always there as well that make it perfect.

You just knew, sooner or later, the jar would shatter into pieces.

Alyxandra Harvey — Blood Prophecy (The Drake Chronicles #6)

I really do wonder how their relationship will play out in the future. I was freaking out. As I’ve mentioned previously, the fantastic group of character Harvey has created have make this series what it is but at the end of the day, it’s been Lucy who has made this series and in Blood Prophecy she’s back in all her rash, loving glory, with her quick tongue, one liners and fierce, unwavering loyalty to the Drakes. This book was full of Lucy and Solange, just like how the series started with a few chapters of other characters.

As I was reading, I was doing a little tick to make sure everything I was unsure about all came together and because the author’s writing is so spot on plus her ability to weave each characters story all together, everything falls propheyc place so well. And frankly, why is Lucy there? Overall this was very well done and definitely bittersweet that it is over. Prophecyy loved how we got a little content from each girl’s POV.

Alyxandra Harvey, you are definitely on my list of favorite authors. I am sad to see the Drakes go, but I am pleased with where the author left them.

Especially when it comes to Hunter and Quinn. And I can’t wait for what comes next with the Regency series. I was a voice inside my own head.

Blood Prophecy: Alyxandra Harvey: Bloomsbury Children’s Books

It was tedious, unnecessarily complicated and boring. A Breath of Frost and Whisper the Dead. The chapters where Viola fully takes over Solange, leaving Solange trapped in a castle inside Viola’s mind, were very dull and confusing.

I can’t believe the series is over! I suppose life gets in the way every now and hagvey. Nicholas and Lucy will still always be my favorite couple in the series. Blood Prophecy The Drake Chronicles.

Blood Prophecy (Drake Chronicles #6) by Alyxandra Harvey Review | YA? Why Not?

Thanks for telling us about the problem. It’s great to see so much of their friendship come out and to see how they’ve dealt with everything that’s been thrown at them especially in this book and the previous one and to have it be in the first person.

Having a feel-good propgecy I can always go back to is strangely comforting. I like this category because the books can be more modern than books written a while ago. One with Lucy and one with Solange. The ending was so adorable.
