This book is clever, hilarious, honest and insightful for almost any age. Who is your favorite supporting character – one you could see getting a spin-off book – and why? There are so many twists in this novel that the reader may guess at, but never assume will happen. Oh, the animal death would be too much for me, but the book does sound oddly charming in a funny kind of way.

Heidi has an imaginary friend named Jerome. Devine Intervention is told from both Heidi’s and Jerome’s perspective. One of the two protagonists has spent sixteen years being seventeen. Heidi is a social outcast with an embarrassing track record behind her. He’s capable of so much more than he thought. May 28, Maria rated it really liked it.

I was doing botany in an animal laboratory. Still, the author managed to balance the truly hilarious with the heartbreaking, and that’s not an easy task. Devine Intervention, as I previously said, is nothing like the other angel books I have read before.

Before we died, computer geniuses were the dorks who dreamed of inventing robot girlfriends because the real thing wouldn’t go near them for a million years. Trivia About Devine Intervention.
