Review: ‘Devine Intervention’ shows there’s life in afterlife
Jerome Hancock is Heidi Devine’s guardian brockennrough just not a very good one. At some point she possesses her dog. Chasing Before Memory Chronicles Book 2, available now. Can’t wait to see what Brokenbrough has up her sleeve next! I liked Jerome maybe because he wasn’t perfect, he didn’t pretend to be, and he didn’t want to be. Thank you so much Martha! The worldbuilding is imaginative and logical and the plot goes to surprising places. The main thing I liked brockenbfough this book was the growth of both the main characters.
I loved the “Anne of Green Gables” books. Clearly, Brockenbrough is not a follower of the New Testament. This works for those who aren’t entirely accepted to go to Heaven just yet. After the talent show and ensuing disaster, Heidi and Jerome have to work together to try to save Intercention soul.
I laughed aloud and wept with joy.

This is no angel saves the day tale. And he’s just about to get kicked out for having too many absences and for violating too many of the Ten Commandments for the Dead.
It is funny, very enjoyable and the characters are highly captivating. And you see that arrow coming out of his head on the cover?

The timeline of certain scenes is confusing, including the lead-up to the book’s conclusion, which sees Heidi’s marths soul morph in and out of a dog’s body. Dennoch bin ich mit beiden nicht richtig warm geworden. This is not that story. You can’t let go or the last of them disappears.
Trust me, it’s a brockebnrough have to read it to believe it type deal. Jerome, a bit of a screw-up with attitude, gets shot in the head with his cousin’s arrow and finds himself in soul rehab, where he’s assigned as guardian angel to Heidi, a girl with confidence issues. This book is clever, hilarious, honest and insightful for almost any age. Who is your favorite supporting character – one you could see getting a spin-off book – and why? Let me just mention the romance very quickly.
There are so many twists in this novel that the reader may guess at, but never assume will happen. Oh, the animal death would be too much for me, but the book does sound oddly charming in a funny kind of way.
Heidi has an imaginary friend named Jerome. Devine Intervention is told from both Heidi’s and Jerome’s perspective. One of the two protagonists has spent sixteen years being seventeen. Heidi is a social outcast with an embarrassing track record behind her. He’s capable of so much more than he thought. May 28, Maria rated it really liked it.
I was doing botany in an animal laboratory. Still, the author managed to balance the truly hilarious with the heartbreaking, and that’s not an easy task. Devine Intervention, as I previously said, is nothing like the other angel books I have read before.
